Welcome
For a long time, our website did not properly reflect the work happening every week through Port Alfred Soup Kitchen. It was old, difficult to keep updated, and no longer gave visitors a clear picture of who we are, what we do, or how they could help.
We are grateful to share that the PASK website has now been completely revamped. The new site gives us a stronger home online, with clearer information about our story, our route, our food gardens, our fundraising events, and the many practical needs that make this work possible.
This matters because the soup kitchen is built on trust. Donors, volunteers, local families, schools, churches, businesses, and friends overseas all need a simple way to see what is happening and how to get involved. The refreshed website helps us explain the work more honestly and keep people connected to the real needs in our community.
Visitors can now find donation options more easily, read updates from the route and garden projects, view photos from our work, and learn how to contact us directly. It also gives our team a better way to publish news without rebuilding the site each time something changes.
Our mission has not changed: no one should go hungry. What has changed is that we now have a website that supports that mission properly.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged, supported, donated, volunteered, cooked, delivered, planted, packed, prayed, shared, and stood with PASK over the years. This new website is one more tool to help us keep serving Port Alfred with dignity, consistency, and hope.
